Copy and Paste Scattered Files with Piky Basket
Posted by Kevin Purdy at 2:10 AM on February 21, 2008
Windows only: Copy and move files from across your system with Piky Basket, a free Windows utility that runs as an Explorer right-click extension. The basic use is a "basket" where you compile a range of files from different locations and folders through right-clicking. Head to where you want to paste or move those files, and Piky dumps them all. You can also copy all the file paths from your basket contents to the clipboard for use in other utilities, and a bonus feature lets you open a command line window pointed at any location. It's a low-key app that does (mostly) one function well, and all the better for it. Piky Basket is a free download for Windows sysytems only.

This is a kick ass find. I really needed this yesterday! I send screen captures that I insert into PowerPoint to one place but then need to move them when finished. Nice little utility.

This is probably one of the most wonderful pieces of software I've ever used. Thanks for posting about it. Been using it for years. :)

A Piky basket? Does it take your deposit, do half the job and bugger off with your files? It probably leaves a bloody dog behind when it's done as well.

Has anyone lost functionality of other items in the context menu (right click) like being unable to use the Winrar "Extract here..." option after installing Piky?
I love the program but I use the others more. I'm using Vista btw.
