A small suggestion to the developers....

Keep an eye on the various URIBLs, etc. for "spamvertised" domains so that your service can not be abused by spammers to cloak their spamvertised domains/links.

Another suggestion, as a SpamCop user; I'd like to be able to e-mail complaints of URL abuse DIRECTLY to the administrator/operator - so consider contacting your host to set this up, so that your domain name routes to "your" contact address, and not your hosting company address.

Currently, [linkbunch.com] is routed to a @dreamhost address (your host) - would probably be more appropriate for complaints of abuse to be sent to another address as to not piss off your host :P

^ yep, that's what it's mainly for. I never meant it to be used by someone as a personal bookmark management service, because you can't really 'manage' the links at this point in time.

I'm looking at having a user account system in place that will let you do that, though...

Hey, I'm the developer of LinkBunch. I was migrating from LINKBUNCH.COM to LINKBUN.CH and a misconfiguration caused the blank directory to show up.. sorry about that! It's back up now!

To those expressing concern over abuse of "URL cloaking" services, I'd like to point out that while services such as TinyURL will instantly redirect the user to the target URL, LinkBunch will show you a page with a list of the URLs that are in that bunch. You can then decide which link(s) you want to click on, or not at all.

The 'Open entire bunch' option is a convenience option that you don't NEED to use to open a link bunch. It's only there when you know that all the URLs are fine, such as in this bunch - [linkbun.ch]

It was a nice idea... but like another user say... the site is down..
For me it would work nicely since my wife always ask me to search for a product in different sites... and in the end I need to send it to her email (Text Based, for security reasons) so adding long links and even pictures is hard... so having a resume of links was a good idea. I hope they can fix their site.

Can't Firefox already do this with the ability to open all bookmarks in a particular folder? What's the gain by using an external service?

I elected to list the links in a google doc, publish it, then link to it via tinyurl.

A few more steps, but ultimately a cleaner page of links (i.e. no ads).
