De-duplicate iCal Events

Mac OS X only: AppleScripter John Maisey offers an iCal utility that deletes duplicate events in iCal calendars. If one too many sync operations left your calendars with multiple instances of the same event, the Delete iCal Duplicates script will clean those up for you. Now available for both Tiger and Leopard, the Delete iCal Duplicates script is a free download for Mac only, donations appreciated.

These scripts, particularly the "delete duplicate iCal Events" are an absolute lifesaver to me. They saved me from dup hell after migrating from iCal to Entourage, right back to iCal. After doing that, my entire calendar (thousands of entries) was duplicated. I tried everything then found this script.
What a lifesaver this was.

This script doesn't get everything. But it gets some things. I guess you get what you pay for.
