Some of Lifehacker's posts are really interesting. This case, seriously?
This post is a flashback to a previous post.
That previous post is a review of other previous posts.
On December 20, 2008, will there be a flashback to this flashback?
The original content on this site is great, but all of the flashbacks and "show me your desktop" stuff is pushing me toward removing the subscription from my RSS feed and not looking back.
Long time reader, first time poster. I love the new content on your site, but I'm overwhelmed by the flashback, summary, and best of posts. Do we really need an article that takes us back to the best posts of 2006?

@ Kraft I'd agree with the flashback stuff but I liked the Desktop Show and Tell section. I'm running Ubuntu 7.10, and it was nice to see how other users had set up their desktops. It gave me ideas on what to do to make mine look better.

I'd like to echo the same... Do you guys let Tamar even write anything or just go back through and pull up a bunch of old stuff?

For some reason, I found the concept of this article to be particularly amusing. I would look forward to a flashback to it next year. ^.^
