Also, if you're using Weby's Firefox bookmarks integration, you need to make sure you don't have a bookmark called "Gmail" - it will override the Weby keyword. I changed the bookmark name to "Gmail Inbox" and now they both show up.

Press TAB!
Yooper1019 is correct. When you type "Gmail", hit TAB before the parameter otherwise you will spend ages (like me) trying to get this to work.

i am guessing this only works if you are always logged in to GMail.
Give it a keyword (mine's "gms"), and you can search from the FF location bar with "gms SearchTerm", and from Launchy with "gms SearchTerm".

Can anybody help me figure this out? I just installed Launchy 2.0, first time user. It worked for a few minutes, I set it to always center, and it no longer comes up when i hit alt-space. The process is still running.
I have 2 monitors, if that's an issue.
I also edited launchy.ini in Application Data folder and set alwayscenter=false, but it still won't work after restarting the process.
I hadn't used the Weby features until I saw this story. It looks fantastic. But what I'm having trouble with, is how do you get it to open the query in a new firefox tab if firefox is already running? I have two profiles, so I get the profile manager and I can't use the profile I'm already using. Any way around this?
@ahawks: This same thing happens to me with dual screens. Setting it to center places Launchy in the middle of both instead of the primary monitor. Now I am not sure about runaway processes. I was able to go to options and change it back.
Unfortunately Mathy is not updated yet! This is my favourite plugin!!

@Joelena and others: I'd like to get a Firefox Quicksearch for Gmail working but "://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1#search/%s" and the others I've seen above don't seem to work for me: I try them and they just take me to my Gmail Inbox, as if I had not done anything else. Is there something else I'm missing?
Further guidance appreciated, and thanx a lot in advance! :)

This can also be done in DOMercury:
Add a new alias, name it whatever you want.
In the Path box, put the location of your favorite browser
In the Parameters box, put [mail.google.com]

Here is a readable version of what you should put in the bookmark's location. Just add either http or https to the beginning.

@inthepit: You are correct. If you aren't logged into Gmail, it'll take you to the login page, and from there to your inbox.
You can also make a Firefox keyword search bookmark and use Weby, which is now built-in.
In Firefox, right-click on the Bookmarks Toolbar (or use your other favorite way to make a new bookmark).
Name it whatever you like.
Enter for the Location:
[mail.google.com]
or
[mail.google.com]
Give it a keyword (mine's "gms"), and you can search from the FF location bar with "gms SearchTerm", and from Launchy with "gms SearchTerm".

Will this work with GAFYD? I tried it with
[mail.google.com]
but it doesn't seem to work.
