Posted by Gina Trapani at 5:00 AM on December 19, 2007

Crafty do-it-yourselfer John Boak uses anything and everything he's got around the house to wrap holiday gifts: from those fake plastic credit cards you get in the mail (pictured), to packing foam to catalogs, newspapers and bag handles. Don't miss the gallery of gorgeous gift-wrapped packages which will make you ditch your recycling bin and hold onto every bit of colorful paper that comes into your life next year.

They have some nice ideas, but the credit card one is tacky beyond belief. Good for someone with a perverted sense of humor though.

DAM Denver Art Museum reference, nice.
An leftovers sounds like food. I thought you meant turkey, or cranberry sauce at first...

I featured Wrap Art in a post about 5 creative ways to wrap Christmas presents without wrapping paper on my blog, The Fun Times Guide to Living Green yesterday!
They truly have some AWESOME ideas there!

That does look crazy...not sure how I'd feel about getting it. I always like the paper grocery bag or comics look. I've had a roll of architectural drawings I've used for years. Plans on one side, white on the other. Sometimes I draw or paint the white side. Ppl rave, they have no idea how cheap, er, enviro friendly I am!
