Instantly Translate Words with Definr
Posted by Tamar Weinberg at 6:00 AM on December 2, 2007
Translate words and phrases easily with online dictionary Definr. The dictionary attempts to autocomplete your word as you type and pumps out results quickly with synonyms and antonyms (if applicable). While Definr is missing some translations, it performs very well (and fast, as promised) and has potential to become a handy alternative for the Google define search operator.

besides using the search engine plugin, you can type:

Translate? It defines... I don't see a translation tool (ie: from one language to another). Am I missing something?
Otherwise, though, what a great resource!

Agreed. Nicely patched into Firefox, I'm addicted to Definr's speedy look-up already.

Cool dictionary. Doubt I'll remember the name when I need it.. I was expecting something like [reverso.net] - a more traditional translator that a French person showed me recently.
