Google Googles can perform neat tricks like solving Sudoku as well as performing image-based searches, but for now it only runs on mobile devices. However, you can access an archive of the pictures you’ve snapped in Goggles online.
Google Goggles has always impressed us with its ability to identify images and translate text. The new version 1.3 has an extra trick up its sleeve: take a picture of a Sudoku puzzle and it will solve it for you.
Android: Google’s Goggles app for Android can now translate foreign text that you capture (and crop) with your phone’s camera, potentially helping with signage, papers and other text found while travelling. In a quick test, it fared, well, interesting.
