Apple is bringing back its Back to Uni deal for Australian and New Zealand students. Eligible customers can score a $100 Apple Store Gift Card when they buy a Mac for university. You can also score a $70 Gift Card when you buy an iPad Pro. That’s in addition to Apple’s pr-existing education discounts on Macs, iPads and AppleCare. Read on for details.
If you’re going to be purchasing a Mac or iPad Pro for university, buying from the Apple Store seems to make sense. Here’s the spiel from Apple’s website:
Get Uni Credit: You’ll get a A$100 Apple Store Gift Card when you buy an eligible Mac for uni. Or a gift card worth A$70 when you buy an iPad Pro. You’ll also save with education pricing.
The deal can be used for the iMac, Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, including built-to-order models. There’s also a quantity limit which is explained on Apple’s T&Cs page.
Handily, you can use the Gift Card towards any Apple app or product. The deal is available to both full-time and part-time students as well as university staff members.
To be eligible, you’ll need to verify your university enrolment through the UNiDAYS website, which lasts for up to four years. The deal ends on March 17.
