A good beauty writer isn’t beholden to a single brand, but selects the best products to create the best possible look. Rather than giving a generic box set, buy your beautiful giftee a selection of expertly curated products from a tutorial, then take it a step further, wrapping these products in the tutorial itself.

For example, I am currently obsessed with this piece that instructs one on how to get lashes that look “amazing af” by my number one beauty crush, Tynan Sinks. This look requires four products — primer, mascara, fibres and a sealing coat — all from different beauty brands. To give the gift of perfect, fanned-out drop-dead-gorgeous lashes, simply buy the suggested products, print out the tutorial and wrap said products in the tutorial. Your very lucky friend or family member will now have everything they need to “get the look”, including instructions. (Personally, I would love to receive any gift wrapped in pictures of Tynan’s face, but that’s just me.)
