Plex Gets Its Own Kodi Add-On, Plex Media Player Now Available To Everyone

Plex and Kodi are two of our favourite home theatre apps, and now you can get both of them together. Plex just announced its new Kodi add-on so you can include your Plex library in Kodi.

Like all new Plex features, the Kodi add-on is only available to Plex Pass users for now. When you launch the Plex add-on, you can browse your entire library across all your servers just the same as you can on any other Plex app. If you’re not a Plex Pass user, you can still peek at it in preview here.

Free users aren’t left out in the cold, either. The Plex Media Player app, which initially came out a little over a year ago, is now available for everyone. Moreover, Plex is integrating its web app to the Media Player so you can have a regular desktop interface, instead of relying on the TV-style interface with your mouse and keyboard.

Plex Media Player is now ambidextrous and free for all… Kodi? Who said that!!?? [Plex]
