iOS: Workflow is an intensely powerful app for iOS that allows you to create small micro-apps that trigger specific actions inside an app, like instantly capturing a note in Notes or downloading a file from a URL. It’s always been relatively complex to use, but today it’s getting easier.
The big shift here is a new gallery page that makes it easy to track down new workflows. They have dramatically improved the sorting process of public workflows, which makes searching though them a much more pleasant experience. There’s a pretty good chance that if you’ve had an idea for a workflow that someone else has already made it, so it’s nice that the search is improved now too. If you’ve avoided this intimidating app in the past, it’s worth another look now. Alongside the lowered barrier of entry, there are also some minor improvements for making your own workflows.
