Todoist’s Smart Schedule Suggests The Perfect Deadline For Your Tasks

Todoist’s Smart Schedule Suggests The Perfect Deadline For Your Tasks

Your to-do list is supposed to help keep you organised, but you still have to do a lot of the grunt work to manage your schedule. Todoist wants to make it easier by suggesting the best times to get your tasks done based on your habits.

The app’s new feature Smart Schedule uses what it calls “AI-powered… predictive task scheduling” to figure out the best times for you to get your tasks done. Obviously, the more you use Todoist, the more useful your suggestions will get.

The smart suggestions will take into consideration when you already have other due dates set so that you don’t overload your schedule on any given day. It will also consider how urgent a task is (based on an analysis of similar tasks from all users), when you usually end your day and workdays versus weekends. All of this should happen behind the scenes so all you get are a few suggestions when you set a due date, but if it works it should passively help make your schedule a little easier to manage.
