Redditor Chuckles17 just finished setting up his workspace, and the end result looks great. Check out this short video tour above, and some more photos of the triple-monitor setup — and a second workspace off to the left — below.
When those three monitors are off, it looks like one massive ultrawide, but once the displays are on you can see that they’re actually three displays on a single monitor arm. Here’s a shot with those displays off, and with the MacBook Pro off to the left side.
The other great thing about this setup is that almost all of it is DIY, IKEA custom, which means it’s in reach if you want to duplicate the look. Chuckles17 goes into tons of great detail in the reddit post (linked below) and answers a ton of questions about how everything is set up and and what he used. For example, about the desk he notes:
It’s a collaboration of parts:
- Table Top – IKEA HAMMARP Countertop Beech
- Desk Drawers – IKEA Alex Drawer
- Feet on Desk – Stainless Steel Feet
- Cable Management – IKEA Signum
He also noted that the desk stands pretty firmly on the legs too, and was much more unstable without them, even if it doesn’t look like it. The equipment rack on the side there is a Samson SRK21 Universal Rack, and the case itself is also a Corsair Carbide 540, a gorgeous case.
