The Sleep With Me Podcast Tells Awesome, Boring Bedtime Stories To Help You Fall Asleep

You’d think we’d all be sleep champs of the world by now, but alas, many of us still have trouble falling asleep, despite our best efforts. The last thing you’d probably want is to listen to a podcast while you try to sleep. But Sleep With Me is different; it’s designed to put you to sleep.

I’ve been listening to Sleep With Me on and off for the last couple of years. The podcast is narrated by Scooter, who injects the appropriate amount of monotone into his hilarious bedtime stories. Some of the things he rambles on about in each episode are so silly with no real rhyme, flow or reason, but that’s the whole point.

For the most part, the podcasts aren’t interesting enough to really follow along all the way through (if you do, that’s some iron willpower there). At least for me I eventually zone out and drift off to sleep. I just let an episode play, set the sleep timer to 45 mins or “When episode ends” and then sleep normally. I’m fast asleep within 20 minutes about 90 per cent of the time. The remaining 10 per cent is probably due to having had a bit too much caffeine close to bedtime or reading an email or message I shouldn’t have.
