Remove Gum From Hair With Coconut Oil

Remove Gum From Hair With Coconut Oil

If you have kids, or know someone who tends to fall asleep with gum in their mouth, you know that gum sticks in hair pretty well. To get it out, just use a dab of coconut oil.

In this video from the Clean My Space YouTube channel, Melissa Maker shows off some clever ways to use refined coconut oil, including a super easy way to get chewing gum out of hair. All you have to do is scoop up a small spoonful of the oil and work it into the hair around the gum. The gum will get slippery and lose its grip so you can pull it right out. Peanut butter and regular butter work too, but refined coconut oil is also a great conditioner for your hair. Not only will the gum be gone, their hair will be super soft too.
