Coffee (and other caffeine-containing consumables) are usually plentiful, but when you’re on your third cup and still struggling to focus, you might want to keep this handy, two-minute exercise up your sleeve.
If you want a visual demonstration, one can be found in this video from Meetup. Otherwise, here are the steps below:
- Take a “rapid” breath in through your nose;
- Stretch your arms upwards; and
- Exhale quickly, again through your nose, while lowering your arms.
If you do watch the video, you don’t need to go any further than the 50-second mark, after which it’s mostly people inhaling and exhaling, something I’m sure you’re already pretty good at.
