Affinity Photo Comes To Windows With Free Beta

Windows: Affinity Photo, the superb Photoshop alternative on Mac, is now available on Windows computers. And you can currently download and use the software for free.

Affinity, who also makes one of our favourite Adobe Illustrator alternatives, is kicking things off with a free beta program for all Windows users. And in terms of features, it’s exactly the same as the Mac version, with non-destructive editing, RAW processing and end-to-end colour management (you can see it in action in the video above). There’s also new tools coming, including HDR merge, focus stacking, batch processing and features for 360-degree photos. It will also be optimised for Microsoft Surface Studio and Surface Dial.

Anyone is allowed to sign up and use the software for free until the end of the beta period. When the app officially launches, it will cost you a one-time payment of $US50 ($66), but you might as well try it before you buy it. If you’d like to join the free beta, head to the sign-up page below.
