Video: If you have some sneaky housemate who likes to steal your soft drink, you’re probably tired of putting your name on everything to no avail. Over at Arrow Electronics, they decided to catch a thief with a photo snapping alarm system.
The alarm system runs on a Raspberry Pi and uses a sensor so it knows when to snap a picture using the Pi Camera. When it does snap a photo, you’ll get an email (or video if you prefer). It’s a goofy setup, but it certainly does its job. You’ll find what you need to make this for yourself in the video above and over on GitHub.
