Windows 10 Can Automatically Turn Wi-Fi Back On After A Few Hours

When you turn off Wi-Fi on your Windows laptop, you probably don’t want to turn it off forever. Yet that’s what Windows will assume until you tell it differently. In Windows 10, however, you can finally specify that you only want to turn it off for a little while.

In Windows 10, when you disable Wi-Fi — either from the Action Center (Win+A) or from the Settings app — you’ll see an optional drop down menu asking if you want to disable it for 1, 4, or 24 hours. Check the one you want and when the time period is up, Windows 10 will turn your Wi-Fi back on. Now you don’t have to set a reminder for yourself or wonder why your computer just won’t connect.
