You Can Adjust Your Torch’s Brightness In iOS 10

iOS: The latest iOS update made some big changes to iMessage, but that’s not all Apple updated, of course. One feature you may have overlooked? You can now adjust your torch’s brightness level if you have a 3D touch-enabled iPhone.

Typically, iPhone’s torch is pretty bright, which is useful in some situations but it can also be a pain when you don’t need that much light. As AddictiveTips points out, it’s now easy enough to fix that problem. Here’s how it’s done:

Swipe upward from the bottom of your screen to open the Control Center. The brightness control works through 3D touch so instead of tapping the flashlight button, press on it to register a 3D touch. The 3D touch menu will appear with three options; Low Light, Medium Light, and Bright Light. Tap any one of these options to turn the flashlight on. Depending on which option you tapped, the flashlight will be bright or dim accordingly.

Of course, this feature is only available on iPhones that are actually equipped for 3D touch (iPhone 6S and above). To read more, head to their original post at the link below.
