Optus Offers Discounts On Small Business Mobile Plans

Optus is giving small and medium business (SMB) customers up to 20% discount when they sign up for new mobile phone plans. Here’s what you need to know.

The deal applies to selected Business postpaid mobile plans and is called the Optus SMB multi-service discount’. Here’s how it works:

  • You get 5% discount on the monthly plan fee when you sign up for two new eligible services.
  • You get 15% discount on the monthly plan fee when you sign up for 4-9 new eligible services.
  • You get a maximum of 20% discount on the plan fee when you sign up for 10 or more new eligible services.

Discounts also apply for customers that resign their existing mobile plans on a 24-month contract.

Optus My Plan Business for mobile phones start at $45 per month and goes up to $125 per month. Some of the plans feature unlimited standard international calls to 10 selected countries from Australia. The $105 and $125 plans feature unlimited international roaming calls to selected countries and international roaming data per month with 1GB and 1.5GB data allowance, respectively.

For new customers, you’ll need to provide an Australian Business Number to be eligible for Optus business plans. Optus has boosted support for its SMB customers by offering access to around-the-clock online customer service.
