Switch Audio Playback Devices Easier In The Windows 10 Anniversary Update

Windows: On top of the big new features (and a few awful bugs), Windows 10 packs some minor polish that makes your life a little easier. For example, it’s now a lot easier to switch which device you play your audio through.

If you’re on the latest Windows 10 update, simply click the volume icon in your system tray. At the top, you’ll see an expandable menu. Click it and Windows will show you a scrollable list of all the audio devices you have plugged in. Pick the one you want and away you go. This is much easier than the previous method of right-clicking the volume icon and digging through system settings.
