Build Your Own Retro-Inspired Retro Game Cabinet

Build Your Own Retro-Inspired Retro Game Cabinet

Building your own DIY retro game console with a Raspberry Pi is basically a rite of passage these days, but building your own case steps that up a notch. Over on SimpleCove, Sean built an awesome little case with plywood.

The case itself is made with plywood and covered with a mahogany veneer. Packed inside is a Raspberry Pi with RetroPie installed and a 25cm monitor. The case has a door in the back so you can get in there if you need to, with a small hole to wire a controller or two out of.

It’s a neat looking design and Sean’s guide is extensive enough that it’s easy to follow. Head over to SimpleCove for the full guide.
