Sendle Adds Satchel Parcel Option For SMBs Sending Small Items

Last year, parcel delivery start-up Sendle arrived on the scene as an alternative to Australia Post for small businesses. The company has stepped up the competition by introducing a satchel mailing option for small businesses that need to courier smaller items to customers. Here are the details.

Sendle partners with a handful of courier companies to offer its door-to-door parcel service. Previously, its smallest parcel option was 2kg (8 litres). The satchel option, which is for packages weighing 500g and under, will be appealing to small businesses that deal with trinkets and other smaller items.

Here’s the Sendle pricelist for national deliveries (excluding remote areas):

Size Sendle pricing
National 500g/A4 $7.95
National 2kg/8L $10.75
National 5kg/20L $14.75
National 10kg/40L $18.75
National 2kg/100L $24.75
