Poke Radar Shows You Where To Find And Catch ‘Em All In Pokemon GO

Web/iOS: If you’ve been playing a lot of Pokemon GO, you’re probably tired of catching the same ol’ Pokemon in your neighbourhood. The Poke Radar map and iPhone app help you find the rest of them so you can complete your collection.

The map, put together by developers Braydon Batungbacal and Nick DiVona, lets you search for rare Pokemon anywhere in the world, and you can even set a filter so you only see where a certain type of Pokemon is found. The map is powered by the Pokemon GO community, however, so it’s possible for trolls to drop rare Pokemon all over the place.

That said, there are a few things in place to help you avoid falling for their tricks. When you click or tap on a Pokemon’s icon, you’ll see who posted the tip, and how many other trainers found the tip helpful. If you see the same person posting hard-to-believe tips with low ratings, you know not waste your time looking for that Mewtwo. You’ll also see when a Pokemon was caught so you know what time of day is best for your search.

Keep in mind, running both apps on your phone at the same time is sure to drain serious battery, so be prepared. You can use the map in your browser or download the iPhone app in the iOS store. An Android version is currently in the works, according to their Facebook page.
