Modify A Kitchen Cabinet So You Can Kick To Open It

If you have one of those kitchen setups where your rubbish bins are inside a cabinet, you know it’s always gross to have to open up that drawer when your hands are dirty. Instructables user “homesteadonomics” came up with a solution to open the cabinet with a kick.

The solution here doesn’t require rocket science. It’s essentially a block of wood connected to a spring and bolt that pushes the cabinet open. Kick the block of wood and the mechanism pushes the cabinet open.

You won’t need much to take this project on for yourself, so head over to Instructables for the full guide.
