Use Up The Last Of Your Nutella In Tasty Hot Chocolate

Use Up The Last Of Your Nutella In Tasty Hot Chocolate

Nutella is delicious, and useful for lots of desserts, but if you have a jar that’s running a little low, a quick hot (or cold) chocolate is an easy way to use it up and make something tasty and special.

Just grab the jar, assuming it’s near-empty, and pour warm milk straight into it. Screw the lid back on tight and shake. When the Nutella is fully dissolved, pour your freshly-made Nutella cocoa into individual cups and serve.

You’ll end up with rich, delicious hot chocolate ready for toppings like marshmallows or a pinch of chilli powder for that sweet heat. Of course, you can also make cold Nutella “chocolate” milk using the same technique, but you’ll need to work harder to dissolve the Nutella from the sides of the jar. If you want to go that route, maybe start with hot milk, and let it cool. If your Nutella jar isn’t edging towards empty, you can always just mix a spoonful or two into a cup of hot milk for the same result.
