This DIY Apothecary Desk Holds Hidden Chairs

This DIY Apothecary Desk Holds Hidden Chairs

This impressive DIY project offers lots of storage and transforms from a desk with chairs to a neat apothecary cabinet.

The middle column is all drawers, but the left and right sides hide a pair of chairs that can be tucked back at the end of the day.

Master DIYer and carpenter Ana White provides the full instructions and build plans for this project. You’ll need plywood and other basic carpentry materials, but note that this is an advanced project. (So many drawers! Two hidden chairs!) She also says she wished she had used hardwood for the stool legs.

Still it’s a great-looking piece and ideal for a kids’ desk that can work in a multi-purpose room.
