The Best In-Store Shopping Deals This Weekend

Online shopping is all well and good, but there are some deals you can only get from the old school brick and mortar stores. We’ve thrown together a few of the best deals you can grab from physical stores this weekend — starting with the cutest character from The Force Awakens.

Big W

BB8 Tin

Was $34.95, now $18. But never mind the price. It’s BB8. This little droid comes with three illustration books inside, but screw that, I’d buy it just for the tin.

Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB

This one’s going for $150 cheaper, now at $749. It has a 5.1” Quad HD Super AMOLED Display with 2560×1440 res, a rear camera with 16MP & optical image stabilisation, and a 5MP front camera.

Instax Camera Bundle

These trendy cameras I’m seeing at way too many parties in Newtown go for $99 by themselves, but this bundles gets you one for $79 with a bag. The bag can even have dots on it — or stripes. It’s important you pick well from the two of those. Couple it with one of those photo booths with the silly moustaches and “I’m with stupid!” signs, and you’re ready to host absolutely every event in 2016.

JB HI-FI

Sony KDL43W800C 43″ Full HD Android Smart 3D LED LCD TV

Knocked down from $998 to $798, there isn’t a jaw-dropping amount of features to speak of here. But there are lots of inputs, it’s ready to stream from devices, and it’s 1080p.

The Good Guys

Dyson DC37C Origin Barrel Vacuum

Was $548, now $398. These Dysons are quite good. Even better when they’re not so expensive. This particular offer doesn’t last beyond this weekend, though.

Dyson DC54 Animal Barrel Vacuum

Was $898, now $599. The “Animal” version of the above. While the above actually scored higher in some reviews, apparently this one is better for sucking up microbes and allergy-causing tiny bits. It does this using “cyclones”. I know not what that means.
