Chrome: When working toward any goal, visual reminders can help you stay on track. Reach is an extension for Chrome that simplifies your financial goals and reminds you of them every time you open a new tab.
The extension is pretty basic. Once you download it, you just enter your name, monthly goal and an amount, and the tool will tell you where you should be day-by-day to reach that goal. The app isn’t specifically designed for financial goals, but for any quantifiable monthly goals — visitors to your website, for example. Still, it works well for savings.
There’s a settings button that allows you to change your goal, but beyond that, there aren’t any fancy features at all. The app isn’t made for planning and tracking your spending and milestones (but there are plenty of great financial tools for that), but it’s useful for staying on top of your goals and keeping them front and centre.
