Make This No-Bake Cake That Combines All Kinds Of Delicious Snacks

This is not the healthiest thing you could possibly make, but it is one of the easiest and most crowd-pleasing sweet treats around, and any snacks you have already (or the shake at the bottom of bags) are perfect ingredients.

The video above, from Epicurious, tells the tale, but the recipe is simple enough. You’ll need some peanut butter (or Nutella, or any nut butter really), a little honey, some vanilla extract and some coconut oil (it’s sweet and solidifies when chilled, more on that in a moment). Mix all that until smooth and you have the “base” for your cake.

Next toss in some snacks. Seriously, just about anything you enjoy eating. Potato chips add a sweet-and-salty angle, crispy rice cereal is a perfect match, pretzels, nuts, you name it. If you like to eat it, it will work. Mix is all up and press into a cake pan lined with plastic wrap, and let it set up in the fridge for about an hour.

It’s really done here and you can enjoy it, but in the video they pull it from the fridge, drizzle it with some melted chocolate and coconut oil and then put it back for about 10 minutes so that can set up too. That’s all there is to it. No baking, no mixer, just a little elbow grease and all the snacks in your kitchen. Enjoy.
