Kick Off Your Morning With This 15-Minute Full Body Routine

Working out in the morning helps get your energy up for the day, and this 15 minute full body routine is perfect for a quick, energetic start in the morning that will also help keep you in good shape and high spirits all day long.

This routine is only 15-minutes long (and illustrated in the video above) but if you have more time, you can increase the number of reps you do or time spent on each exercise. All you’ll need are some clothes you can sweat in and a mat or towel to work out on. Since so little gear is necessary, you can even take this workout with you when you travel. Here’s each exercise and what part of the body you’ll work when doing it.

  • Planks with leg raises (core)
  • Plank walk (core, shoulders, arms)
  • Air squats (lower body)
  • Squat jumps (butt)
  • Dive bombers (back, arms)
  • Plank jacks (core, legs)
  • Side planks (obliques)
  • Mountain climbers (core)
  • Tricep dips (arms)
  • High knees (overall strength and endurance)

You can do this routine by time or number of reps. If you prefer time, each exercise should take about one and a half to two minutes. Try to push yourself for each rep to get the most from this short workout, and you’ll finish in no time.
