You’re probably familiar with eBay’s percentage discounts, but it does toss out fixed price ones from time to time. In this case, it’s a flat $15 off your next eBay purchase, as long as you have the following two items: the site’s official smartphone app and a coupon code.
First, the app. It’s available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, which covers just about everyone.
Now for the coupon code: APPY15
To get the $15 off, you need to make a purchase of $50 or more using the app and supply the code at checkout. As with eBay’s other offers, there are a few terms and conditions.
These can all be found on the website, but if you just want the important ones:
- This offer commences at 10.00 (AEST) on 24 June 2016 and ends at 23.59 (AEST) on 30 June 2016 (“Offer Period”).
- The offer entitles you to $15 off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $50 or more in one transaction via eBay Mobile Application (“eBay App”) during the Offer Period, for up to 1 transaction.
- The redemption code requires payment with an Australian PayPal account in order to take effect.
Best case scenario, you find a $50 purchase with free postage. This works out to be a 30 per cent discount. Not bad at all.

It is a targeted offer only if you have received an email offering the deal will you be able to redeem it under your ebay user ID
Yes, this is a targeted offer. Doesn’t work for me. I received a “Get $25 off a $75 purchase” though.
How did you sign up to get these?
I didn’t. I think eBay just selects random users.
didn’t work for me.
