Keep Off-the-Shoulder Tops In Place With Safety Pins And Hair Ties

If your wardrobe includes an off-the-shoulder top you’re tired of tugging and pulling up while you walk, work, or just move around, you can easily keep it in place with just a couple of safety pins and hair ties.

Even though this isn’t a huge problem, having to constantly adjust your top every time you move your arms too much is annoying. You just need four medium size safety pins and two hair ties for this quick fix.

Loop the hair tie through the open circle at the top of each safety pin (two pins per hair tie). Attach the each safety pin to the inside of your top, aiming for under the armpit area. A seam or bit of elastic will help hide the safety pins, but if you can’t find a good hiding spot, the pins shouldn’t be noticeable from the outside of your top.

The hair ties will pull your top’s sleeves back down into place anytime you raise your arms so you don’t have to worry about adjusting them. For a visual demonstration, check out the video above.
