There are so many stunning places to see in the world, but some of them are really expensive to visit. While no destination is quite the same, Cheap Tickets rounded up some cheaper alternatives to popular (but expensive) holiday spots.

To come up with cheaper “dupe” destinations, Cheap Tickets pulled prices from their site, using random mid-week days throughout the month of May. The list is, of course, subjective. Many of these dupes assume you enjoy a certain destination for a specific reason, which is usually the landscape. While that’s probably mostly true for the general population of tourists, it might not be why you love that destination in particular.
