This desktop, sent in by reader Amy, brings a little summertime to our screens, which we can always appreciate. Best of all, it’s pretty streamlined and doesn’t require a ton of tweaking to get just right. If you want the same look, here’s how Amy did it.
Amy’s running Windows if you can’t tell, so this is another Rainmeter setup. If you’re not familiar with Rainmeter, you can check out our beginner’s guide to it here to get your bearings first, and then give this a try.
With that out of the way, here’s what you’ll need:
- The wallpaper
- The Rainmeter system tweaking and monitoring tool for Windows
- The Simplic skin for Rainmeter for the time and date and the other active widgets
Nice and simple this week, which is great. Even with only one real widget running on top of Rainmeter, the look is sharp, and it does just what Amy needs it to do.
