We all have smartphones these days and you might find yourself in need of editing an important document while you’re running between meetings. Microsoft is trying to make this easier and has put in a quick access feature to its Office 365 mobile apps. When you edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint on your mobile device you’ll find a list of commands at the bottom of the screen that are relevant to the document you’re editing.

Other new features include the ability to record audio with OneNote (for Windows Phone only) and the addition of Smart Lookup which uses Bing to provide contextually relevant results to texts you select on in a document.

Office 365 for desktops has also been updated to include more collaboration tools such as People hub to see who is actively working in a Word or PowerPoint document with you, Skype for Business integration and an activity feed to track the edit history for shared documents.
