FindMyMacros Finds Nearby Restaurants That Fit Your Eating Plan

iOS/Android: Pancakes, burrito bowls and pizza sound good after a tiring workout, but it can be a challenge to eat out without blowing up your eating plan. FindMyMacros is a mobile app that helps you stay on track by figuring out which foods to eat based on your calorie and macronutrient goals.

FindMyMacros is the perfect app for “flexible dieters”, or folks who count carbohydrates, fats and proteins (if you’d like to learn how that’s done, check out this comprehensive guide), but it also lets you filter your options based on calories for that meal, if you prefer. The beauty of this is that it helps take the headache out of where to find diet-friendly grub during fits of hanger and indecision.

After you input desired macros or calories, FindMyMacros feeds you a bunch of nearby restaurants (powered by Yelp) and provides all the nutritional information at your fingertips (or at least whatever is currently available). You can further sort your menu options by low or high carb/fat/protein. Heck, it will even help you navigate via walking, driving or biking to the restaurant once you’ve decided!

The free app is still going through a lot of improvements, additions and updates. For example, the food database is a steady work-in-progress, and users can help out by submitting their meals. It is available for both iOS and Android users.
