The Right Way To Peel A Sticky Note

The Right Way To Peel A Sticky Note

Turns out there’s a right and a wrong way to peel sticky notes (AKA Post-It notes). Think side-to-side, not bottom-to-top.

Most of us peel sticky notes from the bottom, but that ends up making the notes curl where the adhesive is. Agile coach Martin Schapendonk shares this tip with us on Whitehorses: Start at the left of the pad and pull the note to the right (or vice versa). Voila, a flat-lying note.

Yes, this is a first world problem. Why does it matter? Your notes will have a better chance of sticking to the wall, your monitor and anything else.
