Safely Remove Leaves From Your Gutters With A Homemade Blower Extension

Safely Remove Leaves From Your Gutters With A Homemade Blower Extension

Leaves can clog up your gutters and cause serious problems if you don’t take preventative measures. This DIY extension made of PVC piping will fit on a leaf blower or Shop-Vac, and blow the leaves out of the gutter without you having to climb up too high.

In the video above, popular YouTuber CrazyRussianHacker shows you how you can build the extension with just two PVC parts. Connect the parts, hook the extension up to your leaf blower and you’re all set.
The length of PVC pipe you’ll need will be determined by how high your gutters are, of course, but that should be an easy measurement to get.

There are extensions you can buy that do the same thing as this, but making one yourself will be a little cheaper, and it’s guaranteed to reach where you need it to because it’s a custom job. The whole video has some great tips on dealing with leaves, so be sure to check the rest out as well.
