LastPass Authenticator Simplifies Two-Factor Authentication For LastPass Users

Android/iOS: Two-factor authentication is growing increasingly important, in a world filled with high-profile hacks. LastPass is taking this feature seriously, releasing a new app to manage all your 2FA-enabled accounts.

The app works much like our own favourite two-factor authentication app, Authy. When setting up an account that supports Google Authenticator, you can scan the QR code with LastPass Authenticator instead to store your tokens in the app. Naturally, you can also secure your LastPass vault itself with two-factor authentication as well.

When you need to log in to one of your 2FA-enabled services, you can open the app to copy the code, or you can receive a push notification to enter the code with one tap.
