If you’re tired of getting confused for a skeleton, wearing light-coloured clothing and certain patterns can help fill out and accentuate your frame.

At The Art of Manliness, Robert van Tongeren of the Restart Your Style blog suggests a simple way to make your skinny frame look a little less gangly and frail: wear lighter colours. If you’d like to look a little heftier, colours like white, beige, or pastels can help.
Lighter colours help show off your form and muscle definition as well and that can help you look a little more filled out. Patterns like horizontal stripes and small checkered patterns like micro-gingham, graph checks and tattersal can help too.
And don’t let the source fool you, these tips can be useful for both men and women. Of course, if you’re trying to look thinner, you want to do the opposite of these tips. You can find more at the link below.

Good tips. I only discovered a lot of these from years of trial and error.
I went shopping for a business shirt the other day and struggled to find one slim enough to fit properly. I did eventually find an expensive MJ Bale ‘Samurai’ shirt, and have used its measurements as a template to start ordering tailored (and cheaper) shirts online. The first one is on its way from Pickashirt.
would it be a good idea to use a vest, jacket or something similar aside from wearing your shirt? it not only adds dimension it’s also a kick ass option to add a little zest to your plain colored shirts.
