Some Users Can Now Subscribe To Podcasts On Google Play Music

Google has been experimenting with the idea of adding podcasts to its Play Music service for a while, but now it seems the company is finally flipping the switch. For some users anyway.

As Android Police reports, some users are now able to browse, subscribe, and listen to podcasts via the Play Music app on Android. The new feature doesn’t seem to be tied to a new app version, so it’s likely a server-side switch. Which means either that Google is performing an A/B test on a few users (usually reserved for minor things like interface tweaks) or, more likely, the feature is slowly rolling out. If you’re one of the lucky few, you can find a new Podcasts entry in the slide-out menu in the Play Music app. Let us know if it’s live for you!
