Microsoft Wants To Know What You Want In New Windows Server Essentials

Microsoft is still working on the next version of Windows Server 2016, dubbed vNext, and is conducting a survey that will shape the development of the Essentials version of the product. Here’s how you can participate.

Windows Server vNext is set to be released this year and will include a ton of new features including new Active Directory Federation service, Windows Containers, new failover clustering and additional web application proxy features. The fourth technical preview of vNext was released late last year. Essentials is a stripped down version of the full-blown Windows Server offering and is aimed at small businesses.

Now Microsoft wants to hear from the Windows Server Essentials user community. It is hosting survey that will help the company decide what features to prioritise in the upcoming release.

If you’re a Windows Server Essentials user and want to make your opinions count, you can complete the survey here.
