Make Perfect Chocolate Truffles With Just Two Ingredients

Chocolate truffles are a classic Valentine’s Day treat, but they can cost a pretty penny. Instead of shelling out hard-earned cash, make your own treats at home with just two ingredients: chocolate and cream.

The recipe (linked below) requires 340g of chocolate (dark or milk), 2/3 cup heavy cream and a good bit of chilling, but the result is a decadent, thoughtful Valentine’s Day present that feels downright artisanal.

If you want to up the wow factor, you can get crazy with add-ins. Add a bit of curry powder and roll in coconut for a spicy-sweet treat, or roll in red and pink sprinkles for something truly festive. If you want your gift to be a little “cheesier” try these cream cheese chocolate truffles; they’re slightly easier, but just as tasty.
