Stress is hard on your mind and your body, but whether it’s in the moment or chronic stress, you’re not helpless. This graphic has 15 solid suggestions to deal with stress, some of which work in the moment, and others that help you cope with the daily stressors we all have to deal with.

Some of these suggestions, from the folks at Business Insider, are common-sense ones we’ve highlighted before, like taking a little time out for deep breathing and to try and shake off whatever it is that’s bothering you. Others, like making sure you get enough sleep (because lack of sleep makes stress even worse) and sneaking in a nap when you have the opportunity are other great suggestions.

Perhaps my favourite though is to make a game plan — exerting whatever control you have over a stressful situation is better than living with the feeling that you have no control at all, and can do a world of good to making even an overwhelming situation feel manageable.
