Scope Out The Best Dishes At Restaurants With Instagram Geotags

People love taking pictures of their food and sharing it with everyone. So why not use that to your advantage? You can use people’s Instagram pictures to scout the best dishes at restaurants you haven’t been to before.

You’ve read the Yelp reviews, so you know the place you’re heading to is good. But what’s the best thing they have? Jeremy Jacobowitz, President of The Brunch Boys, suggests you hop on Instagram to find out:

Looking for a spot, the first thing I want to know about is what dishes am I going to have my eye on. I usually go on the Instagram geotag for the place and take a peek at what everyone else is taking a picture of.

Open up your Instagram app, tap the magnifying glass icon, then tap the search bar. There you can search for your restaurant by name, or you can tap the “Places” tab to the right and search from there. At the very least, you’ll know exactly what you’ll get when you order the dishes you see. If you want to double check your choice, you can always ask the staff what they think.
