Camera MX Brings iOS-Style Live Photos To Android

Camera MX Brings iOS-Style Live Photos To Android

Android: There are plenty of alternative camera apps on Android, so it’s a little hard to stand out. Camera MX is doing a decent job though, most recently by adding Live Shots, which allows you to capture brief videos in an easily shareable format.

Similar to how Live Photos work on iOS, you can use Camera MX to take brief clips that are designed to loop in place. When you take a picture, the app will take the solo photo, but also capture some footage from a few seconds before the shutter snapped, to create a brief snapshot in time. Camera MX will loop the shot a couple of times and turn them into an easily shareable MP4 format.
