Access Tons Of Books, Photos And Videos In The New York Public Library’s Digital Database

Libraries are a pretty awesome resource. They’re full of tools, information and materials anyone can use. Even better, all of it’s free. And the New York Public Library now offers access to a massive database of digital collections.

Earlier this week, the NYPL announced:

On January 6, 2016, The New York Public Library enhanced access to all public domain items in Digital Collections so that everyone has the freedom to enjoy and reuse these materials in almost limitless ways.

Of course, this database includes access to free books, but there’s a ton of other stuff, too: paintings, newspaper clippings, digitised video and hundreds of thousands of public domain pictures. Browse for yourself at the link below.
